Located in Coconut Creek, North Broward Preparatory School is an extraordinary community of learners. Our teachers and leadership team think beyond a traditional education to transform learning and provide an academically challenging environment including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, often referred to as the gold standard of learning.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a balanced program of education that prepares students for success at university and life beyond. It is designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical wellbeing of students. At the heart of the IB program is a focus on developing students who are inquirers, thinkers, knowledgeable, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.
At North Broward Preparatory School we believe in developing these qualities, not only in the students but also in our faculty members. Our teachers strive to support the personal needs of each student and create a customized learning environment that ensures their success. Our faculty members are committed to life-long learning and professional development and bring new and innovative ideas to the classroom, and nurture and encourage the passions and interests of each student.
Through our boarding and five-day residential programs, North Broward Preparatory School serves as a home away from home for over 300 students from 29 countries, including the U.S., that we welcome to our international Village. Boarding students are surrounded by a nurturing environment with caring, dedicated professionals available 24-hours a day. Our Residential Life team ensures that students are given the resources they need to thrive both academically and socially. All of our students get the opportunity to be immersed in a multi-cultural community, become global citizens, celebrate their differences, cultivate a worldview and develop the confidence to impact their communities and the broader world around them.
As part of Nord Anglia Education, the world’s leading educational organization, the student learning experience is enhanced through collaborations with Juilliard, MIT and UNICEF – giving our students the opportunity to experience a multi-disciplinary approach to STEAM and Performing Arts curriculum. Through Nord Anglia’s UNICEF partnership and Global Campus, students connect with 50,000 peers around the world and learn how they can be world changers.
