September 11 Remembrance 5K – Sat, September 7
The City of Coral Springs remains committed to honoring the victims and the families left behind from the attacks on America 18 years ago. Held at the Coral Springs Northwest Regional Library, 3151 University Drive, Coral Springs. Registration opens at 6 AM with start time at 7 AM. Coming together as a community, this is a family friendly event. We encourage groups to register as a team as team awards will be given.

Parkland Back to School Splash Bash – Sat, Sept 14
Featuring fun in the sun with many water themed activities, inflatables, slip and slides, music, games, crafts, and more! Admission is free, bathing suits are required, and all ages are welcome. Artoberfest Saturday, October 6
From 2 to 10 p.m. at Coral Springs City Hall Lawn 9500 West Sample Road. Coral Springs is putting its own twist on Oktoberfest! Join us for a night of German culture and art at our second annual Artoberfest celebration in Downtown Coral Springs. This family friendly event is the perfect for enthusiasts who enjoy a festive atmosphere with traditional German cuisine, beverages and music. Plenty of free parking will be available in the City Hall parking garage. City Hall is located at 9500 West Sample Road. See ad on pages 8-9.

Parkland Dash 5K, 5 Mile, and 1 Mile Fun Run- Sunday, October 13
This family-friendly event begins at 7:00am at Pine Trails Park, 10555 Trails End in Parkland, with check-in from 6:00 – 6:30am. Participants can choose either a certified 5K course, 5 Mile course or a 1 mile fun run/walk. 5K and 5 mile participants will be scored and timed by Accuchip who is providing disposable tags for all participants. Individuals or families can enjoy the 1 mile fun run/walk. Strollers are welcome for all courses. For further info, call 954-757-4105. See ad on page 19

Save the date for this 10th Annual Shopping Boutique and Luncheon from 10:00AM – 2:00PM at the Marriott Hotel Heron Bay 11775 Heron Bay Boulevard, Coral Springs, FL .
