Parkland Soccer NOW Registering!

Despite her status as a young City, Parkland’s successful youth soccer program has been active and growing for 30 years. Registration has begun for the 2018-19 season, and more than 1300 children, ages 4 to 17, are expected to make great strides and new friends on fields all over the City.

Practices will begin in late October and the first games start on the second Saturday of November. Games are played through the last Saturday in February, culminating in a much-anticipated picnic and awards event that is enjoyed by every family involved in the league.

“More than half of the club is made up children under the age of eight,“ says Vice President of Registration, Pete Gado. Parents of very young children are encouraged to get their kids involved in an activity that not only teaches their child the skills and rules of the popular sport, but grows the entire family closer to others who are active in the soccer community. A terrific “first sport,“ playing with this popular league gives kids a strong foundation for teamwork that can be taken far into their future.

Registration is now underway, and parents can find all of the information they need at Parklandsoccer.net
