5th Annual Boca Burger Battle, A Grilling Affair!
Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Sanborn Square Park and along Federal Highway in downtown Boca Raton, all three previous 2015 1st Place winners will be present including M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom, Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox and The New Vegan. More than 15 other south Florida restaurants will compete for this year’s bragging rights.
Die-hard burger fans get your tickets early and come hungry to taste in between the buns as this year’s chefs are perfecting their new recipes and competing to win the trophy for the Judge’s Pick as the “Best Grill Master” and “Best Alternative Grill Master.” Attendees will receive a chip to vote for their pick as the “Best Boca Burger” in south Florida. Enjoy additional Bites, Craft Beers, Summer Wines, Retail Vendors, Live Entertainment by Big City Dogs Band playing Classic Rock and Blues, Voodoo Possum and a secret surprise performance, and shop in WineEvents.com’s onsite Wine Store at this year’s street festival.

2016 Grill Master Judges are Rey De La Osa, Resident Chef at Aprons Cooking School as Chief Grill Master Team Captain for the well-regarded group of judges; Alex Callegari, The Firefighter Foodie; Jamie Frankel, Burgers by the Beach & Floridian Beer Society; Jan Norris, JanNorris.com; Rob Adler, Weekend Broward; Robert S Weinroth, City Commissioner of Boca Raton. Back again this year is former judge Peter Leonard, better known as Master of Ceremonies from The Food For Thought Radio Show.
General Admission Tickets are $50 per person; VIP Tickets are $75 Pre-Sale ($125) per person. VIP Ticket holders will enjoy one hour extra with early entry and unlimited food and drinks. This is a 21+ event and runs from 6 PM (VIP) 7 PM (GA) to 10 PM. The event is Rain or Shine.
