Leo and his lovely wife, Ana, are happy parents to their four daughters, Alyssa, 18, Leah, 10, Emma, 8, and Ariella, 3. Their home in Coral Springs is completed by their two cats and a pair of golden retrievers.
Leo is the CEO of Phoenix Roofing Group, and has been in the roofing business for over 20 years. Ana is a stay at home parent and homeschooling mom.
Don’t worry about these girls getting socialized because they are busy with activities all over town!
All of them train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, including Ariella! Alyssa was a competitive gymnast for more than 9 years and coaches gymnastics now. She loves to stay active, going to the gym and weightlifting. Leah, Emma and Ariella dance, are active members of American Heritage girls, and various homeschool co-ops in our community, including theater. Leah plays the violin and has been part of youth Orchestra for 3 years. Emma plays the electric guitar, and absolutely loves horses! All are very active and enjoy riding their bikes.
Mom and Dad are no slackers when it comes to staying active. Leo tells us, “Our entire family trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu together. My wife, Ana, loves and stays active training kickboxing at least 3 times a week, homeschools the 3 younger kids, and also enjoys reading and gardening!” She is also an active American Heritage Girls leader and involved in various homeschool co-ops in the community.
Leo enjoys fishing and Jiu jitsu, and is also busy with many associations such as Make a wish foundation, FRSA (Florida Roofing Association), NRCA (National Roofing Association), RCASF (Roofing Contractor South Florida Association). He shares, “As a family, we believe in giving back to our community and serving others. Whether involved with nonprofit organizations or helping individuals in need, we are committed to contributing and making a positive impact in every way we can.”
When it comes to family time, Ana tells us that, “We enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants and foods, training jiujitsu, exploring nature, fishing and bbq, and relaxing by the pool on the weekends.”
Alyssa is Senior at FAUHS, (dual enrollment) and is staying at FAU with more year to finish her bachelor’s degree in marketing. Her younger sisters are all home educated by Mom. Leah is in 5th grade,and loves reading and language arts. Emma is in 3rd grade, and Science and outdoor play are her favorites. Ariella joins their homeschool activities and enjoys drawing, singing, practicing gymnastics, ballet and Jiujitsu.
Coral Springs residents for 15 years, Leo tells us, “We enjoy going to all the fun parks Coral Springs and Parkland offer. We appreciate our Police department and First responders who help keep our community safe and beautiful. Our family loves to attend the public events and festivities the city offers throughout the year.”
Ana concludes our interview by telling us, ”We all attend and love Fort Lauderdale Assembly, a very small but solid Christ centered church family.“
