For three days in mid-April, Pine Trails park and the Parkland Amphitheater were alive with all kinds of family fun. Children of all ages were excited for carnival rides and games, while every member of the family was entertained by musical groups like Uproot Hootenanny, the Caribbean Chillers and performances by the School of Rock. It all began with Friday night’s headlining Japanese drum show. Other highlights of the weekend were when the South Florida Cloggers took the stage and there was also an exciting demonstration in martial arts that mesmerized carnival goers of every generation. Parkland residents are thrilled to have a variety of family activities available throughout the year.
