November All-Star Highlight

Madison Winkler

This dynamic young lady is a powerhouse in so many areas, it’s practically impossible to pin down her number one talent. Soft-spoken, yet confident, Madison is sure to leave an indelible mark on whatever pastimes she chooses to pursue. When she “grows up,“ she intends to be an attorney and a realtor, and she’s very determined about that.

First and foremost, she is a big sister to her twin brother, Mason, and made her debut six minutes prior to him. As with any 11-year-old sister, she claims that he’s, “kind of a pain” but it’s evident that there is a familial affection. She wants to make sure we know that she really likes her cats, Ashley, and Tuley, she hangs out with her best friend Maia every day, and she enjoys going on walks, swimming, and rollerblading.

She recently set a record for herself of doing 206 consecutive cartwheels. When asked how she felt after completing them, she replies, “Nauseous and dizzy.“

A student in the 6th grade at Westglades middle school, of her many pursuits, she says that competition cheerleading for their boys and girls basketball teams is her absolute favorite. Madison tells us that the friendship and camaraderie of the other girls on the team draws her to excel at the sport. She says, “It’s fun! The girls are really amazing to be with.“ A former, and award winning gymnast, she says that tumbling and other skills are what have made her into a fabulous flyer. Her stature might be petite, but her presence is something greatly to be admired. Extremely well spoken, she also enjoys speech and debate on the Westglades team, and is stellar at communication.

Of her many talents, Madison also does a lot of dancing and acting with Broadway Bound. She has been in numerous plays, and enjoys having fun with the other castmates and entertaining the audience. She’s also proud to have been part of a flag football team that won their most recent Super Bowl! Among the positions she played were center and running back.

One of the favorite places Madison has traveled is Winter Park, Colorado, where she enjoyed zip lining, rock climbing, and an alpine slide. When she’s not busy with school, where her favorite subject is science with an accent on space exploration, she loves shopping and hanging out with Maia, her mom, Annette, and she also loves to cook. Her favorite pig out food is steak.
