During the month of November, the topics of thanksgiving and gratitude are talked about by almost all. Here at Coral Springs Christian Academy, it is our goal to have our staff, students and families focus on these topics all throughout the year. However, at this special time of the year, we do spend a little more time reflecting on the many blessings we have been given and just how thankful we truly are.
In the Bible, we are told “rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances…” This passage is found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Sadly, we live in a time when there are many people who find it hard to give thanks, let alone in ALL circumstances.
So the questions becomes, are you thankful? Are you thankful for your present circumstances? Are you thankful for your friendships, your family, and your job? Being thankful is indeed a “life changer”.
CSCA understands, it is not easy to give thanks in all circumstances, but it is necessary. Thanksgiving breaks the power of depression, pain, uncertainty and more. When we give thanks, especially in the hard times, this brings great pleasure to the heart of God and it allows you to develop an “attitude for gratitude” or a “gratitude attitude”.
CSCA has a “gratitude attitude” and we are truly thankful for all the Lord provides for us. Some of those provisions, for which we are so thankful, are the students and families who make up the CSCA Community.
With the recent press on police officers and first responders, CSCA thought we would take this opportunity to express how thankful we are, for the many officers and first responders in our school community. These dedicated men and women, not only serve the community at large, but they are a vital part of the CSCA Community. We are so thankful for our police officer and first responder moms and dads, who support, protect, serve and involve themselves as members of the CSCA Community.
