Run by cousins John and Frank, Rizzo’s Holiday Lighting creates custom outdoor holiday displays with a personal, neighborly touch. Frank Rizzo, a retired police officer and United States Navy veteran, brings nearly 20 years of experience, currently operating Amazing Decorations, the largest holiday lighting company in New Jersey. John Rizzo is a formal financial planner with deep ties to the local community. He assists with running the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, supporting children and families battling pediatric cancer.
John and Frank teamed up three years ago for Rizzo’s Holiday Lighting. The pair were united by their passion for working as a family and bringing a stress-free holiday experience to their community.
The company offers a full-service experience, beginning with a free consultation during which they collaborate with each client to design custom lighting tailored to their home or business. Their expert team ensures that every display brings each customer’s vision to life.
The Rizzos own the materials utilized for the displays, allowing them to maintain careful quality control of their creations. After installation, they continue to offer support and maintenance, committing to a 24-hour turn-around time to ensure potential issues are resolved immediately and with care. When the season is over, their team conveniently handles the removal and storage of lighting materials, rounding out a remarkably hassle-free experience.
John and Frank’s shared enthusiasm for the business is infectious. Their passion can be partly attributed to the unique privilege they get to experience working as a family. “I love working together with Johnny,” Frank shared. “It’s rewarding to get out there every day and see what we can create together. It’s a lot of fun, and I look forward to it.”
In addition to their holiday lighting services, Rizzo’s Holiday Lighting proudly supports the mission of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation in a one-of-a-kind way.
“Every year, we make it a point to give back by decorating the homes of a few families with children battling pediatric cancer,” said John. “It’s one of the most meaningful parts of what we do—bringing a little extra light to families going through tough times.”
The company will partner with Parkland realtor Bill Sohl Luxury Homes Team to donate their services to families with children battling cancer. The event will take place on December 6th, with the fire department and mayor in attendance. It’s a priceless gesture that brings unimaginable joy to families that could use it most during the holidays.
