Olivinne’s In-Home Care is a private home in an established and safe Coral Springs neighborhood operating since 1997 by experienced caregiver Olivinne Williams. This warm and inviting atmosphere brings new meaning to the expression, “Home away from home.” With the purpose of helping elder family members who are unable to care for themselves independently, seniors each reside in their own private room in an upscale, friendly and secure environment that offers home health care services. Olivinne says, “It’s our commitment and moral responsibility to establish and maintain a superior, service-based
Meeting the needs of the elderly in our society today currently overwhelms the options that are available to many families. When a family member and their spouse are a dual income pair, choices for giving proper attention to aging parents are very few and hard to understand. Sometimes the best answers come from those who have stood in those shoes, experienced the challenge and discovered a working solution. “Problems became daunting when my mother began wandering the neighborhood, forgetting to shower and eat, and had fallen several times,” Anne Jerome tells us. “We tried a larger facility, but it was too impersonal. Finding a small, group home was exactly what she needed. Our entire family loves that we can visit Mom whenever we’d like and that she is always well cared for.”
Olivinne’s attentive staff serves three home-cooked meals daily as well as two snacks. Throughout the week, residents participate in a variety of therapeutic activities from games to current event discussions and a comprehensive daycare program. Along with the care one would expect when living with a loving family, Olivinne’s provides housekeeping, laundry service, and carefully assists residents with their medication. There’s also a 24 hour on-call licensed physician and registered nurse available to meet residents’ needs.
Maureen Mignone tells a heartwarming story of her mother’s care at Olivinne’s. “My mother was at the beginning stages of dementia and recovering from a broken arm and hip surgery when we placed her in the facility. When Mom was recovered enough to return home, she refused. She told me that it was her home and she wanted to stay and wanted to hire a law firm for asset protection. We lived three doors away and I would drop by unannounced at virtually any time. I always found her home to be clean and the residents always comfortable and well fed. We ended up moving 150 miles away and I left mom with Olivinne because I knew no one would be as good to her as she would. As my mother’s disease progressed, Olivinne and her staff continued to give her amazing care! I would wholeheartedly recommend Olivinne’s In-Home Care and her staff to anyone that could no longer live alone. She treats her clients like family members! My mom passed away after eight years there, and Olivinne flew to New Mexico to setup the funeral pre-arrangement plans as well as the funeral home, helped me with the flower arrangements and checks in with me from time to time to see how I’m doing. I thank God for the day that I found her!”
Understanding that each of her residents has led a life prior to being unable to take complete care of themselves, Olivinne empathizes and bears their feelings in mind. She says, “Although our staff are here to help, we strive to encourage dignity, independence and peace of mind.”
For a limited time, Olivinne’s is offering $600 OFF the first month for new residents.
