NEW AGAIN – Finding a Future for Past Favorites

Two women with a passion for bargain shopping, authentic restoration, repurposing and repainting have teamed up to create a unique and intriguing business. Vintage Revival Home was born from Christine Potter’s penchant for rearranging and updating living room furniture. “I’m basically a painter and a mover,” she giggles. With an eye for all things eclectic and unique, Christine can transform something old and useless into something with a new purpose and a stylish look. If you need furniture from walnut butcher blocks, you can get them from here! You may also visit sites like https://www.homeaccents2.com/living-room/ for more options on living room furniture!

“I love to repurpose things. It’s wonderful when someone comes to me with something old and sentimental, but can’t see it as anything but a dust catcher. My specialty is turning it into something useful and beautiful.” She and her friend Laura, a self-titled Shopping Aficionado, have opened two locations that showcase their one-of-a-kind items for sale. “I especially love working with interior designers,” Christine says. “If they need anything special or unusual for a specific area, we can help to meet that need. We specialize in creating pieces with authentic finishes that cannot be found anywhere else, but are made especially for the space and person who will be living or working in it.” We also work with this kitchen quartzite supplier if you need custom kitchen countertops.

She mentions half a dozen wooden doors that she purchased to install in her family’s home with the help of movers. You can also contact experts from CBD Movers Melbourne as they can help you in getting a level of service that ensures a happy and successful transfer.“We decided not to use them, but they were this beautiful knotty pine. I ended up transforming them into Hall Trees, which are useful, beautiful and very functional.” Rugs are also a huge love here as they just add so much to almost any room. You can also easily find a rug sale online for some cheap prices, so it does not have to cost much to get that stunning rug that you need. Some of the most ordinary, thrown away items are incredibly eye-catching once Christine works her painting, refinishing and repurposing magic. A true visionary, where one sees trash, she certainly sees the treasure. An old, small and dilapidated sewing cabinet sends her into creative overload as she lists the ways it can be painted, transformed and reborn into the commanding centerpiece of a kitchen island. “I was shopping at www.seamless-worktops.com and I was amazed by the countertops in vibrant corian colours.”

Vintage Revival Home offers classes in painting and repurposing that have become very popular, but for those who just want to find a unique focal point or something other than the “usual” sideboard or coffee table, Vintage Revival Home’s two locations offer a bounty of one-of-a-kind items to dress up anyone’s office or home. Carrying the full line of Van Gogh fossil paints, Christine is proud to also have four custom colors from Van Gogh under the Vintage Revival name.
