On the Radio

By Cheri Tishman

“…..But they said it really loud, They said it on the air, “On the radio”….Whoa, oh, oh, oh

On the radio..”

Anytime I hear any of Donna Summer’s songs, especially “On the Radio,” I have visions of disco balls and Dick Clark.  Well that wasn’t quite the vision at Maplewood Elementary on May 23 when the Chiarelli Dancers performed “On the Radio” dance show, but it was pretty close!

Ms. Donna Chiarelli, third grade teacher at Maplewood Elementary brought yet another enriching dancing experience to the school cafeteria.  Like the Disco Ball, the dancer’s, from kindergarten through fourth grade, put on their shiniest, discotheque clothes and danced to “MacArthur Park,” “She Works Hard for the Money” and more 1970 classic Donna Summer’s hits, all choreographed by Ms. Chiarelli.  Chad Biro, former student of Ms. Chiarelli’s was the Master of Ceremonies for the 5th year in a row.

Ms. Chiarelli volunteers her time to teach dance to the Maplewood aftercare children and her own special third grade class.  Each year begins with a lot of enthusiasm and anticipation for the grand finale – the Dance Show in May.  Let’s say it really loud, congratulations Ms. Chiarellis’ dancers, let’s say it “On the Radio.”

 1. The hint of this terpene shade – hawaiian snow is honestly unclutter and ingenuous, not too concentrated but mollify clear in the most way. It blends smoothly and adds a much control superiors flavor study without compelling all things else. Flush a close amount makes a difference, which says a a mountain around the quality. The packaging was solid, shipping was connected, and the whole experience felt reliable. Indeed solid produce and joined I’d providentially command again.
