The Sohl Family

Bill and Heather Sohl have lived in Parkland for more than 13 years and are thrilled to be raising their young family here. A close knit fivesome, the children are twin boys William IV and Logan, 4 ½, and their cute sister Brooke, 3.

Heather is a busy mom who focuses on the kids while Bill concentrates on his successful Real Estate career. If you’ve seen him once, you’ll never forget his mantra, “The Biggest in Real Estate,” which is partly due to his 6’8” stature. Growing up locally, Bill understands our area and the families who are looking for nice neighborhoods, great schools and like-minded friends. Heather says, “We chose to start our family here because it is one of the safest communities to raise children.”

A transplant from Michigan, Heather loves creating fun events for their family like barbecues and parties, and is always looking to enjoy get togethers with other families and their kids. Bill’s sister is a neighbor, and the Sohl kids and their cousins spend a lot of quality time laughing, playing and growing together. Bill refers to their family time as “ordinary,” but it sounds really fun! Heather says, “Our favorite thing to do is cuddle up on the couch, cover up with blankets and watch movies.” That is, when they aren’t playing in the pool or at the park. Bill says, “We really just enjoy being together regardless of the activity. I love spending quality time with our family and friends.”

Bill has coached basketball at the YMCA with the boys and looks forward to coaching them and their teammates as they begin flag football this fall. He is a member of the Parkland Historical Society and sponsors as many community activities as he can. Also a General Contractor, he says, “Many of my Real Estate clients need help with home improvements and I am happy to connect them with people who do quality work the right way.”Get More Info here about the services that they use and which one is certified as the best one in this field.

The boys will begin VPK in the fall and Brooke will be attending pre-school part time. Heather tells us, “Kids at their ages are sponges so they love to learn anything new!” As she shuttles them back and forth to and from their happy home, she is smitten at the beauty and charm of Parkland that many of us may take for granted. “I love driving down the tree-lined Holmberg Road and I appreciate the family activities that the City sponsors.”
