2nd Annual “No Limits” Golf Classic Fundraiser

Parkland Buddy Sports Hosts 2nd Annual “No Limits” Golf Classic Fundraiser

This May, hundreds of people will tee it up at Heron Bay Golf Club to raise money for Parkland Buddy Sports. This 2nd annual “no limits” golf classic will support sports programming for children with special needs in south Florida.

Parkland Buddy Sports, founded in 2002, provides quality sports programming for thousands of special needs children and young adults in an empowering, challenging and loving environment where the emphasis is on having fun, making friends and realizing full potential. Our volunteers, both students and adults, learn patience, tolerance and the ability of one person to change the life of another.

Through positive reinforcement, the special needs players achieve new levels of success each time they come to the game. Players are matched with their own “Buddy” volunteer for the entire season. “No Limits” is the mantra of Parkland Buddy Sports, dedicated to providing the best in sports programming for special needs kids. 100% of all funds raised by sponsorships are allocated to the programs to buy equipment and uniforms, and to fund program-end celebrations. All staff and board members volunteer their time.

At this year’s event, three student volunteers, all graduating seniors going on to college, will be recognized for their commitment and dedication to Parkland Buddy Sports, each receiving a $1,000 scholarship made possible by Scott Cohen Service Scholarship, Eaton Financial Group and The Niewood Family Founders Scholarship.
