The New Year is here. The ball has dropped, many resolutions have already fallen by the way side and the real question is, “Will your life be any different than the prior year?” As the holiday season passes and the food and drink finally wear off, many folks tell me that January is a very depressing month for them. When I ask why, I hear the same answers. “I really want things to be different, but they just aren’t; my children drive me crazy, my spouse just does not get it, and the economy still stinks.”
The funny part about these kinds of answers is they have nothing to do with personal ownership of one’s life. You see, your life can be whatever you desire it to be. First you must visualize what that life looks like. Then you must come up with a plan of attack. Then last, but most importantly, you must get up off your bottom and do the work that is required to achieve your dreams.
Sounds simple enough, so why is it that the vast majority of folks lives never progress? The answer is simple; you can’t forge forward without a team that is all focused on the same victory.
So what will be different for you this year? If you are serious about creating the life you desire you will need a team. Do you have one?
