There are so many different diet theories in the world today. You can easily get mixed up with what you should be doing that would work best for your body. Below are three nutrition tips you can follow to help optimize your health forever:
- Be Aware. Stop to think about what you are going to put in your mouth for each meal during your week/day. Take some time on Sunday and Wednesday to plan your meals ahead of time. If you are not a person who likes to cook, check out Perfect Fuel.
- Understand what your body needs. Carbohydrates fuel your energy, protein feeds your muscles, and healthy fat supports your metabolism and energy. During your most active part of the day, fuel your body with high energy carbohydrates (i.e., fruit, oatmeal, Ezekiel bread).
