Valentine’s Day’s roots started in a rather different way than how we celebrate it today. Virtually every American son or daughter has been trained in the giving and receiving of cards and candy from, not only relatives, but every classmate. And then they grow into adults who decide that the day might be better spent if they dedicate it to one special person. Barbara Gobbi – My son Jack is my Valentine. He has taught me more about patience, kindness and unconditional love than anyone ever could. We are best friends and he is my “Love Bug.”
Rosi Sheperd – As much as I love my hubby, my Valentines are my three little boys, Jeremiah, 8, Levi, 5 and Sawyer, 2. They are truly the sweetest little men in the world!
