Splish, Splash … the Back to School Splash Bash was a Blast! The City of Parkland introduced a new event in September featuring tons of water activities! Families were encouraged to join their friends at the Equestrian Center for a fun-filled morning of water slides, water tag, crafts and more! While it was extremely hot for parents, children cooled off in a variety of different water activities. The Coral Springs/Parkland Fire Department brought out their tanker truck and made sure they kept all the kids cool. We also had the opportunity participate in hula hoop contests, relay races and have a giant water balloon fight! With all this rain, we were lucky to have the Florida heat and sunshine come through for the event. There was nothing less than an amazing turn out and it’s certainly on the calendar to do again next year!
